In this whimsical world, your emotions manifest as adorable creatures called Emotibuns, who love to hide and need your help to express themselves. By catching these shy creatures, you can grow them into beautiful plants—some of which are extremely rare! Engage in fun interactions like watering, pest control, and even singing to your plants. Enjoy relaxing mini-games, such as catching bubbles in your bubble tea, all while transforming your room into a safe space where you may encounter your inner child.
There was always a void inside your mind, like a sinkhole. One day, you woke up inside the void.
You find yourself in a dusty, abandoned room, greeted by a friendly bunny who seems to hold the keys to the secrets of the room.
There are some things you can do in this room.

As you explore the dusty room, keep an eye out for Emotibuns—shy creatures that disguise themselves as dust bunnies. They represent your repressed emotions, such as sadness, anger, anxiety, loneliness, and emptiness. These creatures are quick, so stay alert! Once you catch and name an Emotibun, it will express its emotion and sprout into a unique plant, complete with an ID card to log your journey of care and growth.

What’s your love language? With over 20 ways to nurture your plants, you can use Care Cards for basic tasks like watering and pest control, as well as more personal actions like singing and writing to them. Each plant is one-of-a-kind, growing dynamically to communicate with you—it sparkles when healthy, droops when sick, and might even jump out of its pot! As you learn to care for your plants, remember to extend that love to yourself, too.
⁕ Collect rare plants ⁕
Each Emotibun transforms into a unique plant species, ranging from common varieties to the elusive unicorn plant. Challenge yourself to collect all the plants in the Plant Index, and discover rare genetic mutations called variegation that create unique leaf patterns. Advanced players can unlock abilities to create one-of-a-kind hybrid plants.

You’ll be guided by Empathy, a friendly, winged bunny! Empathy offers daily affirmations and shares wisdom about emotions and self-love to help you on your journey.

I really like how how this game is fun 🤩 but also helps you concentrate on each emotion you feel and why you felt that way. It’s very calming and when I need to relax I play this game 😌 Ads: ads are one thing that we can all agree are very annoying😑. but this app has very few ads and for any parents who might be concerned 😟 none of the ads are inappropriate or not suitable for children Gameplay: it’s a very cute 🎀game to help Work through your emotions and to focus at each one. Each plant 🪴 is a different emotion and you get to choose a name and word or color that makes you feel that emotion. There is a shop where you can buy decorations for your online space with money 💵 from the game. You can also add your friends by using a friend 👩💻 . Again for any parents it can’t be anyone online that you don’t know. If your kid has a friend they, and you know and they have this game also they can give each other their codes. The game is absolutely adorable, I love the emotibuns! they’re designs are cute and endearing, without making them extremely over the top in the emotion. My personal favorite is Lonely Bun! But i’ve run into a huge issue while playing this game. It is basically impossible to both keep your plants alive and healthy, and also get items to help you with that. You have to sacrifice water for your plants to be able to buy some boba tea that gives you about 20 energy. Barley, that’s if you’re good at the game. and yes, Getting cards will help with this issue. But what cards don’t help is the STARS. The only real ways to get them is sending letters, your plants (SOMETIMES) giving them to you, and maybe on a rare occasion something else. And stars are extremely important from buying items that give you energy, which you need to play the game, and buying stuff like cute stuff. Cute stuff can range from 150 stars to 1000+. I barley have 50 most of the time. And you HAVE to spend them on pots when your plants get too big, there has got to be made an easier way to get stars. The game is supposed to be relaxing and stress free and all it’s done is make me stress over my plants dying because i wanted a cute item. Please fix your expensive problem. You’ve said in past reviews you would, but it’s still a huge problem. my only issue with the game, truly. And if you have changed it, I can’t IMAGINE what it was before. If this is “better” to you. Play you’re own game before releasing it, Thank you! 🩷

This game is something very special, it is such an easy to play and cozy game that you can spend hours playing. I love the variety of plants and how cute all of the emotibuns/items are. This game has been helpful in thinking and processing hard things that I wouldn’t usually want to think about, as well as giving me something to go back to on the good days. DustBunny has quickly grown to become one of my favorite games and I am so excited to see the developments to come. In the future I would love to see new emotibuns such as Fear, Depression, Guilt, Happiness, Excitement, etc.. as well as more items, pots, and possibly the ability to obtain carrots from advertisements. I have yet to obtain a single carrot and have been playing for about a week and a half with all but 4-5 plants to be found, I spend hours playing this game at a time and it seems practically impossible to obtain a carrot without in app purchase. If new ideas arise I’ll put them here, game development takes a lot of time and tireless effort and I honestly can’t praise DustBunny enough for what it is at it’s earlier stages; I anxiously await future updates and new content :3

This is genuinely one of the best mobile games I’ve downloaded in a really long time! Since the first time I played animal crossing pocket camp. YES ITS THAT GOOD. I have only hit level 8, but there is SO MUCH content in this game! I know there’s a lot more too, as “empathy” has hinted to it. You can journal, play little mini games to earn energy, and grow the cutest plants. I have been struggling with my mental health, and it’s nice to think that I can even facilitate my negative emotions with love and care and it can turn into something beautiful. It helps remind me to not be mean to my negative emotions, but to realize they do come from a place that I need to take care of and nurture. Everything is so easy going and relaxing and it’s perfect to unwind and process your emotions of the day. I do wish there was a better balance with the energy to dust ratio as I seem to have a lot of dust, but not so much sugar because you use the sugar for a lot more comparatively to the dust (unless that changes later game! Then by all means!) Other than that, perfect game and I can’t wait to discover more features.
