I cannot unlock my episodes on the shows I like. I’ve tried contacting through the contact button but, other than an email saying the message, I’ve gotten no help. If this can be resolved I’d give the History app 5 stars. But, since I cannot watch anything it gets 0 stars. I do have a tv provider and this has started very recently, like since the app update.UPDATE: after a couple of weeks of communication with the app developers, I was finally sent another app update and this problem is now resolved. I love the app but I have to be able to see all episodes to continue enjoying it. Thank you.

My 3 uncles fought & returned from the war. Their courage enthralled me to join up with the Army Signal Corp. in 1980. I figured the best way I could honor them & my country was to join up. Tom Hanks review of WWII clears up a lot of when & whys I never knew. Sure there’s always left out items , but the point is & I hope is conveyed to all who listen is during this war, dead numbers don’t lie. We wouldn’t be anything or as a free as we are today, if not for all the people who stood up against the evil of Japan & Hitler. Whatever side you might find yourself, you can’t be grateful enough to all the kids who came to say yes on one side & no, we want a choice on the other side. If you’re not humbled after reviewing Tom Hanks production, then you have no soul with the rest of mankind which said “NO!” This isn’t the Lord’s way or the way of compassion. Leadership isn’t given to anyone, it’s earned. Todays gov managed by republicans, should be embarrassed as well as humbled by what allowed them to run down every soul who doesn’t like tyranny. God help us all, it never happens again.

I give it 4 stars, based mainly on the yarn spun by the series. 13 years and still blathering about the Knights TemplarI’m reviewing the story so far by streaming from Season 1 Episode 1. I’m repeating some previously seen episodes and carching up on some I missed. The story line holds up pretty well even if some of the crackpot “expertsʻ” revelations are total jokes (e.g. The Phoenicians or Columbus pre-1492 sailing to Oak Island). My main problem is with the way the episodes stream and are proken up at random intervals by irrelevant ads. Yes, Iʻve discussed it with the cable company and I have up-to-date Apple soft- and hardware. Nevertheless, the story is a fun diversion and I can understand why History would want to keep stringing us along as the Fellowship pursues the next shiny object. Who knows, maybe Prester John is the next suspect. Happy digging and aloha.

I love history and all the History channel has to offer. However, the app itself is the worst streaming app and it’s not close. Sometimes the dialogue does not match the people’s mouths moving on the screen. The insane number of ads in a single episode (I can understand it to an extent). Sometimes I select the interactive ad experience, interact with it, and then it still ends up cutting to the 7 or 8 ads afterward. Pretty often I have to completely sign out of the app and turn my phone off because it tells me the episodes aren’t included in my tv subscription (they are included in my tv subscription), and once I sign back in, I have access to the episodes. Lastly, almost every time I pause an episode and go back to watch later, when I resume, I’m somehow 10 minutes earlier than where I left off. Love the content in the app, hate the streaming and performance of the app itself.
