Hello! I'm not really used to SPI as opposed to more informal CU requests at SRG or WPSPAM so apologies if I've done anything wrong. My understanding based on prior reports for this case is that there's some technical peculiarity which confirms that accounts are related, which M7, the locking steward, presumably didn't know about. Not having access to Giraffer's notes on checkuserwiki I had no way of informing M7 about it in my SRG report, which is why I felt it would be helpful to have an enwiki CU look at this as well. Would you consider reopening the case? lp0 on fire () 22:22, 22 August 2026 (UTC)Reply

Nothing wrong, the locks weren't even instituted until after your report. The stewards also have access to Giraffer's notes on cuwiki, as well as a crosswiki form of CheckUser (whereas naturally enwiki CUs are restricted to enwiki). As the behaviour is focused more on crosswiki spam rather than enwiki disruption, it belongs more on meta, and I trust the stewards do their own sleeper checks. Regardless, this case in particular is fairly unique and most of the accounts found are by behavioural rather than technical connection. DatGuyTalkContribs 22:38, 22 August 2026 (UTC)Reply
