Initially, she was the villain and Big Bad of season 1 but as Regina's past is explored and the Dark Curse is broken, Regina proves to be far more than the flat character "Evil Queen" of the stories. Her most redeeming quality and stable of her character is her love for her son Henry, the primary motivator for Regina's change for the better... even if it doesn't always stick and she slips into her old bad habits.
Eventually, she makes peace with her hated arch-enemy Snow White and even her evil mentor Rumplestiltskin, becoming a Hero in her own right even as her past sins repeatedly haunt her.

  • myCANAL and/or CanalPlus need creating as myCANAL seems to be a paid VOD for Canal+/Canal+ Group shows. While the overall CanalPlus website itself, seems to be a streaming service, unless of course it's just showing what's available on myCANAL. It seems to be similar to the free VOD My5 which broadcasts shows from the Channel 5 (UK) TV network's 6 TV channels in the UK, along with some shows by the networks A&E Networks UK (A&E USA/SKY UK) owned Blaze (TV channel), the PBS UK (PBS Distribution USA/David Lyons Canada) owned PBS America, the Community Channel owned Together TV, practically every channel owned by Viacom International Media Networks (as they own the Channel 5 network after all), and shows distributed by the brands Real Stories, Timeline and NEXT by HOT (who owns those 3 I have no idea). All Channel 5 (UK) TV network shows which are available on My5, can be watched through the Channel 5 website too, just like how Canal+/Canal+ Group shows which are available on myCANAL seem to be available on the CanalPlus website in general. The categories on the CanalPlus website include myCANAL, Kids, VOD, Client Area, Shop, The club, Assistance and Digital Channels.[171]
