The night after the partial solar eclipse of 2026 was the peak of the Perseid meteor shower, which I photographed from Göhrde, Germany. This composition is the result of a tracked camera pointing towards the radiant of the Perseids. It combines the light-painted foreground, the stacked Milky Way (232 × 30 s, 1 h 56 m), and 15 meteors. A few deep-sky objects are (barely) visible.
