I’m guessing their ( #Fastly) CDN is objecting to my username being an Addy.io address, and the 429 errors are coming from Fastly rather than from the Bugzilla servers. I’ve run into this problem with #Akamai but never (before) with Fastly.
I’ve reported the problem to #Mozilla many times and they’ve done nothing.
Every time I run into this it’s because I’m trying to help make #Firefox or #Thunderbird better by contributing to identifying bugs and fixes for them.
This pisses me off.

I have been pretty fed up with Outlook since my current job forced me to start using it in 2022. However, I recently realized that #Thunderbird support for Exchange Servers is much improved, not requiring for-pay plugins to work. I tried it out over my vacation and was very happy. Is it perfect? No.
But imperfect is better than Outlook.
Ein scheinbar triviales Problem, bei dem ich mit #libreoffice und auch mit #thunderbird immer wieder scheitere: Ich füge irgendwas ein (Bild u.ä.), vergesse aber, nach der Stelle, wo ich einfüge, eine Leerzeile zu lassen.
Dann kann ich dahinter nicht mehr hinklicken und nichts mehr eingeben.
Konkretes Beispiel: Ein mit Code Highlighter eingefügter Codeblock.
Ich kann jetzt nur noch in den Codeblock schreiben , komme nicht mehr "dahinter". Ich müsste jetzt den Codeblock löschen usw ...???

Mozilla rotiert kurzfristig seinen GPG-Signaturschlüssel für Firefox und Thunderbird. Der vorherige Unterschlüssel war unverschlüsselt in einem privaten GitHub-Repository gelandet. Mozilla sieht laut Audit-Logs keinen unbefugten Zugriff, hat den Schlüssel aber vorsorglich widerrufen.

Verbinde ich mich allerdings mit thunderbird unter Linux Mint aktuell mit dem imap.hispeed.ch, erhalte ich keine Fehlermeldung und auch die Ausgabe von

@Razemix From what I understand, yes and no.
1. Yes with #Thunderbird or other email clients with encrypted email only. No with Delta Chat unless someone makes a TB addon for Chatmail or #autocrypt.
2. Yes if you use #DeltaChat with DC users and TB with #PGP for instance. In any case, Chatmail relays will only allow encrypted mail in or out.
Before any of this, you'll have to keep hold of your chatmail email address and password and also be able to export your private key generated by DeltaChat which I think is not available in the UI anymore. This means you'll need to go the manual classic email registration route not the default onboarding.
I dont know how secondary relays will factor into this.

This is the follow-up to the post I've published last month. In this one, I dive deeper into the technical aspects of supporting a new protocol - namely Exchange's EWS API - in @thunderbird, and what this means for the future of the project.

#PGP ist leider zu kompliziert und und zu uneinheitlich umgesetzt. Geht mit #Thunderbird ganz gut, auf Android ist man von einem quasi ungepflegten #OpenKeyChain abhängig, auf iOS von unfreien Apps. Und vom Synchronisieren der Schlüssel über mehrere Geräte hinweg reden wir lieber gar nicht erst.
Mit #DeltaChat geht das deutlich bequemer, aber das würde ich eher gesondert betrachten.
