This image marks an important point in my recovery. I took this photograph on the first longer walk since I came home from hospital 6 weeks ago. It is a never ending delight looking at this group of trees. Yesterday it wasn’t a very bright day. It had been raining. The sun had just peeked through a break in the clouds.

It needed to be celebrated in spite of the darker, moodier tones. To me it represents light after a challenging year to date.
