Auf dem Dreisamuferweg drei Erwachsene im Smalltalk. Dabei fünf Hunde, davon zwei an der Leine, drei nicht. Einer an der Leine am Dauerkläffen schon seit wir in Hörweite waren.
Ich wollte mit meinem intakten Rüden da vorbei. Da niemand seine Hunde abrief, bin ich halt drauflos.
Meiner war irgendwas zwischen wachsam, leicht genervt und gelangweilt. Nur dem einen Hundebesitzer wurde dann erst bewusst, dass es evtl. Beef geben könnte und meiner ca. 2-4x so groß ist wie seine, und DANN versuchte er es mit Abrufen. Laut. In steigender Hektik. Natürlich hörte keiner auf ihn.
Manchmal frage ich mich wirklich. 🙄

I've been dogsitting my friend's pomeranian the last few weeks and he went back to his home a few days ago, I miss him so much! He was my little buddy who followed me around everywhere, his name is Foofee, this dog is so fun and such a little rascal. I can't wait until his parents go away and they ask me to watch him again! 🧡 🤍 💛

Today was the day to clean up my lawn mower to be able to start it to mow Summer's front acre.
My mower is clearly worn out.
Summer thought it would help if she brought me stuff I might need to get it going.
More stuff is always better, right?
By the time I got the mower ready to mow I had a whole pile of random stuff.
She really is the most sincere helper I've ever seen.
It didn't help but I thanked her anyway.
Tomorrow my daughter is going with me to the farmers market and then to shop for a battery operated mower.
It's almost my birthday so it's time.
We will see if I can find something that I think is heavy duty enough to handle our fields.
