Veranstaltung Sonntag, 17. Mai 10 bis 17 Uhr in #Leipzig.
We still have free spots available! Contact us at seebrueckeleipzig@riseup.net if you’d like to join :)
Join us in the fight against hate speech!
What?: Workshop against right-wing and discriminatory slogans (in german; please contact us if you would like to participate but don’t speak German. Then we will try to arrange something for this or a future event!)
When?: May 17, 10 a.m.–5 p.m. (including a break)
Where?: Rotor Books, Kolonnadenstr. 5
Unfortunately, the venue is not wheelchair accessible (the entrance door is wide enough but there are 2 low steps; the restroom is at ground level but not wide enough)
Many people find themselves in situations where they are left speechless by right-wing or racist remarks and only later wish they had spoken up.
The “Stammtischkämpfer*innen” seminar addresses exactly this issue and teaches strategies for overcoming that momentary shock and standing up to right-wing and racist slogans.
There are a total of 25 spots available; participation is free, and we look forward to your registration via email: seebrueckeleipzig@riseup.net
Since the workshop will be quite long, we’d like to organize a potluck together. We’d appreciate it if a few people could bring some food. Important: please make sure it’s vegan and peanut-free! A sign-up sheet has been created for this, which you’ll receive when you register.
Trigger warning: For practice purposes, racist and discriminatory statements will be discussed—please look out for yourselves and others!
