Ex-Councillor, 54, Defiles Seven Year Old Girl in Delta State, Nigeria

A 54-year-old former councillor of Sapele Local Government Council in Delta State, Mr. John Onose, has been arrested by the police for allegedly defiling a seven-year-old girl.

The incident, it was gathered, happened on Tuesday afternoon after the ex-council lawmaker allegedly lured the kid to a nearby bush around Fovie Street before forcefully sleeping with the victim.

Mother of the teenage girl, sources told Southern City News, got wind of what was happening when she discovered that her daughter was bleeding through her vagina and anus on Wednesday.

The suspect, who is said to be married with six children, was confronted by the victim’s mother after her daughter gave details of the incident.

Officials have not named the girl, but friends and sources close to the investigation identified her as Amy Inita Joyner-Francis, according to The News-Journal. Joyner-Francis was jumped by a gang of bullies in her school’s bathroom Thursday morning.

33 Year Old Man Rapes 8 Year Old Girl Over N10 in Lagos

A 33-year-old man, identified as, Freedom Barryneh is in police net for allegedly raping his neighbour’s 8-year-old daughter in Ajegunle area of Lagos State.  The incident happened after the victim, approached the suspect and requested N10 from him to buy biscuit.

After giving her the money, Barryneh, who was watching a pornographic film when the minor entered his apartment, persuaded her to stay with him. While the movie was on, he allegedly told her to undress but she declined, saying her mother would beat her for doing so.

The suspect, however, allegedly resorted to force and allegedly dragged her into bed and raped her.

The girl opened up to her mother when she began to feel pains in her private parts.

Father To Be Burned His Pregnant Girlfriend Alive

A father-to-be killed his heavily pregnant girlfriend by burning her alive because he could not cope with the thought of becoming a parent, a court heard.

Eren Toben, 20, lured his 19-year-old girlfriend Maria Peiner, who was eight months pregnant, into a wooded area in Berlin, Germany, before stabbing her with a bread knife and setting her alight.

The court heard he wanted a 'free, happy life' and brutally murdered his partner and their unborn baby so he could avoid fatherhood.

He has now been jailed for 14 years, alongside his accomplice, Daniel Mueller, 20, who helped carry out the horrific murder.

The court heard how the two men lured Miss Peiner into woods on the outskirts of Berlin to kill her.

Strapped with a booby-trapped vest and sent by Boko Haram to kill as many people as possible, the young teenage girl tore off the explosives and fled as soon as she was out of sight of her handlers.

Her two companions, however, completed their grisly mission and walked into a crowd of hundreds at Dikwa refugee camp in northeast Nigeria and blew themselves up, killing 58 people.

This young girl is bravery personified. Little Iyabo (renamed Blessing) was abducted at the age of 6, and the last 3 years of her life have been traumatic.
According to the Lagos State Police Command who rescued her, Iyabo had been sold to different people and made to work as a maid. She told reporters that she did domestic work in the various “homes” and each time she complained to people that she had been abducted, they beat her. She was on her way to school when a woman wearing a pudah took  her away in her car.

Eventually Iyabo was rescued and her abductors arrested. The police say they are currently working to nab the ringleader of the abductors, so Iyabo can be reunited with her family. But until then, the young girl will remain in custody of the police, while the suspects will be charged to court.

According to Raw Story: A former Campus Life Director for Youth for Christ from Huntington, Indiana pleaded guilty Wednesday to charges that he sexually exploited a minor.

Nathan Hasty used a fake Facebook page to solicit nekked photographs from children, including ones who belonged to Youth for Christ. An FBI agent tasked to the case told WANE that Hasty established multiple Facebook accounts under false names in order to initiate conversations of a sexual nature with underage boys.

Eventually, he would attempt to coerce the boys into sending him nekked photographs.

In the fake accounts, Hasty pretended to be a lascivious sixteen-year-old girl and struck up conversations with boys, mostly between the ages of 12 and 14. He would eventually ask them to send nekked photographs, and even enticed some of them into webcam sessions in which he watched them masturbate while claiming he didn’t have a camera.

A mother of two identified as Idowu Akinwunmi has accused a Divisional Police Officer in Lagos Island, SP Adekunle Awe, of raping her on Wednesday April 15th while in police custody after she was arrested by men of the Onikan Police station, Punch reports.

According to Idowu, she was arrested on Tuesday 14th April after her boss, Ms Idowu Pelumi had laid a complaint at the police station accusing her of bringing a male friend to her restaurant to pass the night. Narrating her story, Akinwunmi said;

"I work at an eatery on Keffi Street, Obalende, as a cook. The eatery also has a tailor’s shop in the compound and it belongs to the same person. There is also a quarters where we all live in the compound. Most of the workers are from Cotonou, Benin Republic. On Monday, a popular customer, known as Friday, came to eat. He later left, but some moments later, he returned to say he could not get a bus home. Friday had been making advances at me, but we were not a couple. I allowed him to sleep over."

A teenager, Haliya Odunaya, now has to abandon school for a while, pending when the deep cut inflicted on her neck by another young girl, Funmilola who accused her of messing around with her boyfriend, would heal. National Mirror reports that when Haliya, 15, lives with her parents at Shomore, on Ilogbo area of Oyingbo in Lagos Mainland Local Government Area of the state, was rushed to the hospital on Saturday, March 15, 2014, not many believed that she would make it.

It was learnt that one Funmilola, a couple of weeks before the incident, had approached Haliya when she started noticing she was being close with her lover. Funmilola had reportedly warned Haliya to stay off her man, reportedly threatening to go any length with anyone she found around the man. It was even gathered that a day before she attacked Haliya, Funmilola reportedly stripped another lady stark naked in the same locality for the same reason.

An 18 year old Pakistani teenager has died from her injuries after she set herself on fire outside a police station when police released her alleged rapist.

DailyMail reports Aamna Bibi set herself alight outside the police station in Muzaffargarh district in Punjab province after her attacker managed to bribe himself free. She was rushed to hospital with 80 per cent burns to her body, but died the following day as a result of her injuries.

Eight-year-old Girl Commits Suicide in Enugu

An 8-year-old girl, Chiemerie Asadu, allegedly committed suicide on Monday at the Ofulonu, Nsukka area of Enugu State. And according to Punch, the little girl hanged herself to death in the bathroom and no one in her neighborhood could give  any reason behind the alleged suicide.
A relative of the deceased, Mr. David Ajibo, told PUNCH Metro that the victim was the daughter of his brother in-law, and was living with him.

“This girl has been staying with us since her father died. I am shocked. I don’t know what to say. Only God knows what happened. She was hale and hearty when I left the house in the morning and I wonder what will make a small girl of eight to commit suicide,” Mr. Ajibo said.

Relatives of the deceased, who spoke in hush tones, wondered why she took her life, considering her age. A resident, who pleaded anonymity, said the girl was full of life in the morning of the fateful day. She said:

A 17-year-old female juice factory worker, Jennifer Onyeche, and potential student of the Lagos State Polytechnic (LASPOTECH), has died, after allegedly stepping on an electric cable while on duty, in a Chinese owned company at Ketu, Alapere area of Lagos State, South-West Nigeria.

Sources at the Lagos State Police Command Criminal Investigation Department, SCID, Homicide department, in Yaba, told Political Economist that the deceased who has just completed her Senior Secondary School Examination (SSCE), has started processing admission into LASPOTEC. He added that Onyeche, however decided to take up temporary employment with Rotpat Nigeria Limited,  a juice factory located at No. 9 Adisa Akintoye Street, off Demurin, Ketu.

Girl Beaten And Choked By Women For Being Suspended From School

According to NY Daily News: A 14-year-old Florida girl was slapped, kicked and choked, and then forced to take off her clothes so she could be beaten by belts after she was suspended from school, police said.

The Volusia County Sheriff’s Office arrested three women in a graphic report of child discipline.

Police responded to the house Friday after a passerby saw the women chase the girl outside their Deltona home. When police arrived the girl was only wearing her bra and panties and was severely beaten, authorities said.

The victim was treated at a hospital for multiple cuts and welts and was turned over to the Florida Department of Children and Families, police said.

Boy, 15, Exchanged For 2 Bags Of Rice In Lagos

A yet to be identified man on Monday successfully traded a 15-year old boy, Seun Aderinwale, for two bags of rice valued at N20,000 at Igando in Alimosho area of Lagos State, southwest Nigeria.

According to eyewitness account, the man, whose address is unknown, went to 4, Ifesowapo Street, Igando, on Monday morning to buy two bags of rice from a shop owned by a woman identified as Iya Ibrahim.

The rice seller was not available at the time but her son, Ibrahim, agreed to the man’s proposal to drop Seun, an Aluminium apprentice, as collateral, in order to collect the two bags  of rice and return later to pay.

However, when the shop owner returned in the afternoon, she was surprised to see Seun who was dropped there in exchange for the two bags of rice taken away by the unidentified man.

Six-Year-Old Indian Rape Victim Forced To MARRY 8-Year-Old Son Of Alleged Attacker

A six-year-old Indian girl who was locked in a room and raped is being forced to marry the eight-year-old son of her alleged attacker. The 40-year-old attacked the victim, who lives in the village of Keshavpura, in Rajasthan, around two weeks ago, it is claimed. Instead of going to police, her family complained to council elders who held a meeting to decide what should happen to the alleged rapist.

Astonishingly, they then told the girl's parents that their daughter must marry her attacker's eight-year-old son. Meanwhile, the girl is believed to have been raped by the same man again on Wednesday, according to NDTV.

The victim's family has refused to accept the elders' decision. The case is the latest in a string of horrific sexual assaults on women and young girls in India, including a fatal attack on a 23-year-old medical student in Delhi late last year and the rape of a photojournalist in Mumbai last month.
