OCVibe announces even more dining concepts coming to Katella Commons

The list of culinary partners set to join Katella Commons at OCVibe is getting longer.
The 100-acre mixed-use development in the area surrounding Honda Center in Anaheim this week announced another round of new additions to the culinary lineup.
The news comes after celebrity chef Roy Choi revealed he would bring his Las Vegas restaurant concept, Best Friend, to OCVibe.
In July, OCVibe shared an announcement of five other chef-driven concepts from Los Angeles and Orange counties to fill the food hall when it opens in 2027.
“Dining and hospitality are going to be a defining part of the OCVibe experience,” Anthony Olheiser, senior vice president of hospitality, said in a news release. “From Katella Commons and its chef-driven kitchens to Chef Roy Choi’s Best Friend restaurant, and the bars and lounges, we’re creating a new dining destination in Southern California where people will discover something new every time they visit.”
Among the newly announced chef partners is third-generation, family-operated Don Churros Gomez. Brothers Jaime and Ricky Nuñez Gomez continue the family legacy using the original churro recipe created by their grandfather, “Don Churros,” in Yahualica, Jalisco, in 1969. The menu will feature traditional, thin-style churros and other authentic Mexican desserts.
Mojo and Pull & Roll, a hand-pulled noodle and dumpling spot from chef Guoming “Sam” Xin, will feature Northern Chinese cuisine. Xin’s first restaurant, Noodle City, opened in Zhengzhou, China, before he earned certification as a senior noodle technician in Beijing and the nickname “Noodle Man.”
Local favorite Gelato Paradiso will bring its artisan Italian gelato to Anaheim with a menu that showcases classic Italian favorites like pistacchio, stracciatella and bacio, along with a revolving selection of seasonal gelato and sorbetto.
Katella Commons will also welcome the exciting return of MFK Modern Filipino Kitchen, a concept from chef Henry Pineda and his wife, Panda. The couple’s restaurant of the same name opened in Anaheim in 2017, but burned down in a fire. In 2024, they launched popular Pinoy brunch spot Lola’s by MFK not far from Angel Stadium.
“Panda and I opened our first MFK here in Anaheim almost 10 years ago, so getting the chance to bring it back home feels really special,” Pineda said in a statement. “Community has always been a huge part of what we do, and being able to represent Filipino food and our culture at Katella Commons means a lot to us.”
MFK will offer Filipino dishes designed specifically for Katella Commons and the communal Kamayan experiences that have become associated with the brand.
The four new chef partners will join five previously announced concepts at Katella Commons. OCVibe will also be home to additional bars and lounges, including beer garden Rea’s Ranch and wine bar Bar Bacchia inspired by Napa and Sonoma wine caves.
