It took penalty kicks for No. 19-seeded El Camino Real to upset No. 2-seeded Taft in its City semifinal boys’ soccer match on Wednesday. Regulation ended in a 2-2 tie, but the Conquistadores won on penalty kicks, 4-3, when goalie Jason Smuckler stopped a shot by Jose Ramos.
