In its beginning, the Reagan Administration deliberately created the biggest budget deficit in history by cutting taxes and increasing military spending. It is now creating new and bigger budget deficits so it can continue to reward wealthy supporters and further slash social welfare programs. Truly, the Reagan bunch has succeeded in pulling off the biggest con job on an entire nation since Adolf Hitler convinced the German people that Nazism was the way to peace and prosperity.
