Work Started in Burbank on Guild Building

Construction has begun on the new $4-million Producers-Writers Guild of America Pension Plan Building in Burbank.
The 30,000-square-foot, three-story, structure located at 1015 N. Hollywood Way is expected to be completed next fall. The interior of the brick-and-glass building will utilize an open-office plan, with the second and third floors opening onto a centrally located, glass-roofed atrium.
The project is being coordinated by the development services division of Hayes & Co., Pasadena. C. W. Driver of Los Angeles is the general contractor; Abrahamian, Pagliassotti & Tanaka of Pasadena is the architectural and interior design firm.
