Martin Gottlieb, president of the Santa Monica Area Chamber of Commerce, says a Blue Ribbon Task Force will seek to determine why some businesses are leaving Santa Monica.
Attorney Christopher Harding will head the task force. Harding is a member of the chamber’s Board of Directors and the Pier Restoration Corp. and helped form the Santa Monica Convention and Visitors Bureau.
