Conoco cut the price of a key grade of crude oil.

The DuPont Co. oil-producing subsidiary reduced its price for West Texas Intermediate crude by $1.50 a barrel to $25.20, effective Feb. 1. The price is the lowest posted by a major oil company for the key domestic oil since the late 1970s and reflects the continuing slack demand for oil among buyers.
