Central Soya will consider Shamrock’s offer.

The Fort Wayne, Ind.-based company reported that it had received an unsolicited conditional proposal from Shamrock Holdings expressing interest in pursuing a business combination with Central Soya in which shareholders would receive $23 per share. Central Soya said its board of directors will carefully examine the preliminary proposal. Shamrock Holdings is a private company owned by the Roy E. Disney family.
