Japan’s Production Up 5.7% in February

TOKYO — Production at Japan’s factories and mines grew 5.7% in February from a year earlier, the slowest rate of growth since the 5.4% pace of August, 1983, the Ministry of International Trade and Industry reported Wednesday.
