UC Irvine Sweeps San Diego in Crew

The UC Irvine crew team swept the University of San Diego in nonconference competition at the 2,000-meter North Lido Channel course at Newport Beach.
The Anteaters won the Freshman race with a time of 6:05 compared to the Toreros’ clocking of 6:13. In the Varsity 8, UCI won in 5:52.95 to USD’s 6:02.85. In the Junior Varsity 8, Irvine won in 6:09.25 to San Diego’s 6:25.00.
