S. Africa Lifts Book Ban

CAPE TOWN, South Africa — Censors have lifted bans on the books, “The Female Eunuch,” by Germaine Greer, and “Dr. Ruth’s Guide to Good Sex,” by Ruth Westheimer, the Directorate of Publications said Friday. The directorate also announced the lifting of a ban on a book of poetry by exiled anti-apartheid author Breyten Breytenbach.
