Copter Falls Into Sea, 2 Aboard Swim to Safety

A pilot and passenger swam to safety uninjured after their small helicopter crashed into the ocean off Manhattan Beach Sunday. Police said the Robinson R-22 was hovering a few feet above the surface when it was touched by a wave, tilted suddenly to one side and splashed into the surf in 10 feet of water.
