A storm drain will be installed under Del Valle Avenue, from Temple Avenue to the Puente Creek flood control channel, under a $395,985 contract awarded by county supervisors to Miramontes Construction Co. Completion is scheduled for September. Officials said Del Valle Avenue has experienced severe flooding during storms.
