Norco Fire Chief Smetana Resigns

NORCO — Fire Chief Richard Smetana has resigned, effective June 29, to take the same post in the city of Rubidoux, Norco City Manager John Donlevy said Thursday.
Smetana, who will take his new post July 1, has been with the Norco Fire Department for about five years.
The city will begin the recruitment process for a new chief immediately, Donlevy said.
