If Buss Could Only Get Cooper on Skates

Now that Jerry Buss has proven he has the best basketball team money can buy, I have a modest proposal for him. He should spring a few bucks for a couple of defensemen who can competently move the puck out of their own zone, kill penalties and feed accurate passes to the forwards. While I don’t expect a Stanley Cup before 1990, I do feel the time has come to raise the Kings above their current depressed status as the Golden State Warriors of the NHL.
