Pentagon’s Wade Will Handle Parts Procurement

WASHINGTON — The Pentagon said Friday that it has selected James P. Wade Jr. to be assistant secretary of defense for acquisition and logistics, a new post created to improve management of spare parts procurement. Wade is now assistant defense secretary for development and support.
