Questionable Humor in Violence

I must object to Caroline See’s frivolous remark about a rapist being preferred to living alone! Obviously she has never encountered one! I am sure many injured women, both young and old, would vehemently disagree with her. I understand her unfortunate phrase was meant to be funny--but how can anyone joke about violence? Especially when it came from a woman who, considering her job, should certainly know better.
