What has happened to courtesy and taste? Johnston’s article was offensive to all who donated to the United Fund and to those whose hospitality was extended to a hard-working crew.
The connection between the rights of minorities, women and creeds and the hosting of a party to celebrate a successful drive escapes me.
Possibly the reporter looked for a story that turned out to be most inappropriate.
