Lifeguards found the body of a scuba diver about 250 yards off the La Jolla Shores beach area Thursday morning, Deputy Coroner George Dickason said.
Lifeguards from Cuivera Court in Mission Bay spotted the body at 11:20 a.m., Dickason said. The body appears to be that of a man who drowned April 14 while scuba diving, he said.
