The Planning Commission also approved a permit for construction of a family-medicine and ambulatory-care facility at 804 7th St.
The facility will be in an area zoned for pedestrian-oriented businesses, which usually do not include medical buildings. The commission approved the project because it will have walk-in service and public education information in the front lobby that will encourage foot traffic.
