13 Rescued from Sinking Boat

A Coast Guard helicopter crew hoisted nine passengers and four crew members off a sports fishing boat that ran into rocks at Santa Catalina Island this morning, authorities said.
No injuries were reported aboard the 55-foot Ocean Quest, which began taking on water after hitting the rocky bottom of Little Harbor, Coast Guard officials said.
