Mitsui Manufacturers Bank, Los Angeles, named Yutaro Hayashi deputy president and chief operating officer, reporting to President and Chief Executive Leonard Weil. Hayashi was an executive with Tokyo-based Mitsui Bank Ltd. before its merger with Manufacturers in 1981.
