Canada found too much pesticide in 7 U.S. wines.

Three wines from Washington and four from Oregon were pulled from the shelves of British Columbia liquor stores because they contained “slightly” higher levels of the pesticide Mesurol than Canadian standards allow. Mesurol is prohibited in Canada but legally used by some Pacific Northwest grape growers to ward off birds. “It won’t kill you, but if you drink enough of it you’re going to be sick,” a Canadian health official said.
