Just returned from Nassau and Paradise Island area in the Bahamas and was so disappointed in the rudeness we encountered from most of the service personnel in hotels and restaurants. It is such a beautiful place to see, but one is made to feel like an unwelcome intruder. Until this situation changes, perhaps the best way to see that area is on a cruise ship, where one could return to a friendly home base each day.
