Walnut : Acting City Manager Named

Assistant City Manager Linda Holmes has been named acting city manager, replacing Robert Dickey, who resigned Sept. 25 citing personal reasons, city officials said. The City Council accepted his resignation during executive session. Holmes will serve until a permanent replacement is found. Dickey, who was not available for comment, will continue working for the city as a consultant until Dec. 1.
