Charles L. Boppell has joined the board of directors of Ventura-based American Restaurants, operator of 28 Wendy’s franchises.

Boppell, currently head of Boppell Enterprises, is a former executive of Godfather’s Pizza, Taco Bell and Pizza Hut.
