GM sharply increased the price of its luxury cars.

The auto maker said some models in its newest line of 1986 cars will cost nearly $4,000 more each than the 1985 versions. The cars, marketed in the sports-luxury category and sharing the same basic body and platforms, are the Cadillac Seville and Eldorado, Oldsmobile Toronado and Buick Riviera.
