Moscow Flashback

I was somewhat bemused to read some letters from people who thought Jerry Hulse was wrong in his story on Russia. I was there two years ago and everything he wrote pertained to my visit. A travel writer can only tell about his own impressions, or about things as he sees them, and Jerry Hulse does that better than anyone else. It’s something like recommending a book or a movie to a friend, who then disagrees with you. Hulse saw Russia as I did, and I thought his reporting was excellent.
