Rancho P.V. : Council Appoints Mayor

Douglas Hinchliffe has been named mayor and Mel Hughes mayor pro tem by unanimous vote of the City Council. The office of mayor is rotated annually among council members.
An executive for a real estate management and development firm and a council member for two years, Hinchliffe succeeds John McTaggart. Hughes, an engineer, has also been a council member for two years.
