While the Beatles are the inspiration of some people, Blondie will always be my own (“Sometimes It Was Harry Being Blondie,” by Robert Hilburn, Dec. 1).

As an 18-year-old girl living in a world of negligee clad no-talents, I have clung to my Blondie albums for dear life.

Anyone who could survive the hard times of her band and her personal life and still come out of it fighting is a strong person.

I have looked at Debbie Harry with admiration for many years, and no one deserves more recognition than she. Comeback? Ha! Blondie has always lived in my heart.
