Keith Loosier, a freshman offensive tackle on Texas Christian University’s football team, died early Tuesday morning of injuries he suffered in a car accident.
A car driven by Loosier, 20, of Tyler, Tex., missed a curve near Tyler late Monday night, struck a tree and overturned, ejecting him. He died a short time later at Tyler’s Medical Center Hospital.
An officer investigating the accident said that Loosier had not been wearing his seat belt.
