Judge Removes Self From Trial of Fellow Protesters

WASHINGTON — Superior Judge Joseph Michael Hannon has removed himself from the trial of eight abortion protesters who were arrested Jan. 22 outside the Supreme Court. Hannon explained that he participated briefly in the same demonstration.
Prosecutors said Saturday that a trial with a new judge is scheduled for April 24.
