U.S. DRAMAS WIN IN MONTE CARLO

Two American productions, “Love Is Never Silent” (NBC) and “Do You Remember Love?” (CBS) have won top prizes at the 26th International Television Festival of Monte Carlo.

Joseph Sargent became the first American director ever to win a Silver Nymph at the festival when he was cited for his direction of “Love Is Never Silent,” a Marian Rees Productions drama aired on “Hallmark Hall of Fame.” That special also took the best picture prize awarded by AMADE-UNESCO.

Actor Richard Kiley won a Silver Nymph for “Do You Remember Love?” and a best actor award from AMADE-UNESCO. Additionally, “Do You Remember Love?” received an award from the International Catholic Assn. for Radio and TV.
