CALIFORNIA - News from March 20, 1986

Charles R. Weaver has been named chairman of Clorox Co., Oakland, succeeding Calvin S. Hatch, who is retiring. Weaver will continue as chief executive, a post he has held since October.

Replacing Weaver as president will be John W. Collins, who remains chief operating officer. The changes are effective April 1.
