Two CSUF Gymnasts Get NCAA Bids

Russell Lacy and Sam Tribble of Cal State Fullerton Tuesday received bids to the NCAA gymnastic championships April 4-5 at the University of Nebraska.

Lacy, a junior, qualified in the floor exercise and the vault. He averaged 9.56 points on the floor and 9.59 in the vault. Tribble qualified in the rings where he averaged 9.46.

Fullerton, ranked No. 14 in the country, failed to qualify. Only the top 10 teams earn bids to the national championships.
