Local News in Brief : Boyfriend Held After Dead Woman Is Found

Sheriff’s investigators Tuesday arrested the former live-in boyfriend of a Tujunga woman who disappeared in August, 1984, and whose remains were found in February, authorities said.
Kenneth Allen Roberts, 45, was being held without bail on suspicion of murder at County Jail after his arrest, which occurred without incident, said Sgt. Ron Bailey of the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department.
Annette Lillian Thom, 43, was reported missing after she failed to report for work as a computer operator at a Sunland company. Her remains were found 19 months later by a hunter near the community of Littlerock, south of Palmdale.
