A student who fell nine stories from a residence hall at University of California, Berkeley, suffered only minor cuts and bruises when he landed on the canvas sunroof of a parked car. Fellow students said Michael McGuinness, 19, a sophomore, liked to sit on the window ledge of his room and apparently lost his balance.
