Local News in Brief : Van Nuys Driver Dies as Car Runs Into Semi

Amotorist was killed early Friday when his car crashed into the rear of a semi-trailer truck in Sepulveda, police said.
The unidentified man, a Van Nuys resident in his 20s, was northbound on Sepulveda Boulevard north of Saticoy Street when his car struck the trailer about 3:20 a.m., Officer Bill Mulvihill said. The truck driver was not injured, Mulvihill said.
The name of the victim was withheld until his family could be notified.
