Marvelous Marvin Hagler will decide next week whether to accept Ray Leonard’s challenge for a fight. One of his managers said that Hagler, the undisputed world middleweight champion, probably will announce his decision after returning from a vacation.

Pat Petronelli, who co-manages Hagler with his brother Goody, said Leonard’s statement Thursday that he wants to fight Hagler caught them by surprise. Petronelli said no negotiations had begun for such a fight.
