Carter Hawley Hale Stores, Los Angeles, said it appointed Robert B. Mang president and chief executive of the Broadway-Southwest division, Phoenix.

Separately, the company announced that Cheryl Nido Turpin has been named chairman and chief executive and Michael C. Weisberg president of the company’s Weinstock’s division.
