So far, Neil Diamond is two for two. He’s done two previous TV specials, and both have earned him Emmy nominations. His third, “Neil Diamond . . . Hello Again,” comes along Sunday at 8 p.m. on CBS (Channels 2 and 8).

This new hour (Diamond’s first TV special in nine years) is billed as a lighthearted look at a day in the life of the singer-songwriter. Along the way, he encounters Carol Burnett (with him on the cover) and Stevie Wonder.
